Tony's House Hotel

Central Paddington , lovely area and the 2 lads running the place were so friendly and professional. As a hotel manager myself, I was very satisfied with the standard considering how cheap it is for London city. Room was clean , beds were comfy, my friends and I had a ball. We were thrilled to find somewhere that would sleep all 5 of us in the room. We also got a complimentary continental breakfast consisting of capri suns , brioches and a few sweet treats , it was perfect for the hangover :).

Perfect little cozy hotel rooms at an affordable price. Great for staying close to central without the central prices! Warmest gratitude to Tony’s house staff.

Excellent location, helpful and polite staff. Rooms are not big, but this hotel I can recommend to any tourists who spend their day sightseeing and need a room with an own bathroom just for night. Breakfast is delivered to the rooms in small packages, so you can have them in the room or somewhere in a park if you prefer. Rooms are clean but maybe a bit of a maintenance could improve them. The price is very reasonable. I can recommend this hotel.

I stayed here recently with my toddler and would definitely book again! Our en suite room was very clean and had every facility needed. (Fresh linens provided daily too). I'm very fussy about matresses, due to having sciatica- but I have to say, our double bed was very comfortable for me to sleep on. Our room had good ventilation and remained cool during the heatwave. The staff at Tony's House are lovely. So welcoming and helpful. There was always someone present at the front desk too, so I never felt like I had to look for staff if I had a query. The location of the hotel is so pretty! Tony's House lies within a tree lined square of Victorian townhouses. The square itself is a calm oasis, compared to the hustle and bustle of surrounding Paddington. At night-time, I really appreciated how quite hotel was. No noise disturbances from the other guests- or from outside. A really fun touch was the daily delivery of breakfast baskets straight to our room- my son loved this! (croissants, yoghurts, fruit juice, biscuits etc.) Bonus: There is a spacious communal garden that offers free weekly yoga sessions . I'd definitely recommend Tony's House for anyone who wants the benefit of staying in central London for a fair price. It's a family friendly hotel. Plus, I believe adult travellers will appreciate staying in a peaceful and clean environment.

Amazing staff, cleanliness, safety and location here!! Nothing negative to say. 10/10 central location and only a couple minute walk to a train/tube station. Very clean beds and toilet. A very comfortable and safe stay. We are a family of 5 and were all very happy. The breakfast was fantastic and the staff were just the best! Very reasonable price and no issues- would definitely recommend.

From reading the reviews I was a bit unsure what to expect during our stay at Tony's House Hotel, but honestly I needn't have worried at all. For £80 per night in a central London location I actually think it was a great find! Pros: Staff - The Gentleman who checked us in was exactly that - he was welcoming, polite and very informative. Location - The location is great ! Underground right around the corner and a lovely square right outside. Cleanliness - We could smell the bleach as soon as we stepped into the hotel, although it's a little dated the place was immaculate. Food & drink - Lots of different choices of restaurants in the area, something for every taste. Not the eating out type? No problem there's a fridge in the room to pick your own bits up from at one of the many local shops ! A plentiful breakfast basket is delivered to your room at a time of your choice in the morning, full of croissants, hot cross buns, juice, yogurts and cereal bars. There are also tea and coffee making facilities in the room. Again - for the price it's not to be sniffed at ! Cons: Noise- This is no fault of the property, but we were on the ground floor and you can hear the tube running below. There's nothing Tony and Co can do about that but it is worth noting. It didn't bother me, after a long day sightseeing I slept right through it but my husband did struggle to sleep. Rooms- The room we were in was a little on the small side....that having been said I've stayed in smaller at the Hilton, and they have made great use of the space available.  The walls are also a little thin and you can hear others in the hotel, again though there's nothing the owners can do about that and I slept so well it didn't bother me. To sum up - if you just want a clean and comfortable base for sightseeing you can't go wrong with Tony's House Hotel ! We'll definitely be returning next time we're in London for an exhibition. If you want luxury and a holiday/lounge in the room vibe book the Hilton around the corner for four times the price.

For the money this has everything you need to sleep and shower. The bed was comfortable and bedding was clean. More than enough towels, shower gels and toilet rolls provided. The room had everything you would need including iron, ironing board, fridge freezer, hair dryer, TV, USB sockets, kettle. The breakfast provided consisted of juice, croissant, bread, butter, jam, cheese, cereal bar, brownie and yogurt and was absolutely more than enough. Don't go expecting the most luxury hotel in London because it's certainly not that but for a very budget friendly space to stay I would thoroughly recommend it and would stay again without hesitation.

My friends and I visited London last week. Everything was perfect! The room was clean and the location couldn't be better! Not even 5 minutes from Paddington station. Many shops and restaurants nearby. The staff was really nice and polite. We couldn't ask for anything more. A value for money choice. Can't wait to visit London again! (bonus: one guy from the reception really cute. No offense to the other ones ;) )
